Home Buying Process

01.

Pre-approval

The first step in the home buying process is to get pre-approved for a mortgage. This involves submitting your financial information to a lender to determine how much home you can afford. This will also help you understand the different types of mortgages available and which one is the best fit for you.

Home Search

Once you have been pre-approved, you can begin your home search. This involves identifying your needs, wants, and preferences for a home, as well as researching different neighborhoods, school districts, and local amenities. You can also work with a realtor to help you find homes that match your criteria.

Making An Offer

Once you have found a home that you like, you will make an offer to the seller. This involves specifying the price you are willing to pay, as well as any contingencies or conditions that must be met before the sale can be completed.

04.

Home Inspection

After your offer has been accepted, you will arrange for a home inspection. This is an independent assessment of the home's condition, including an examination of the structural, electrical, plumbing, and heating systems.

05.

Closing

Once the home inspection has been completed, and all contingencies have been met, you will go to closing. This is when the sale is officially completed, and the property is transferred from the seller to the buyer. This process usually takes place at a title company or attorney's office.

06.

Move-in

After the closing, you will take possession of the property, and you will have to make all the necessary arrangements to move in. This includes arranging for utility services, setting up insurance, and making any repairs or renovations you want. Once you move in, your home buying process is complete, and you can start enjoying your new home.

Home Selling Process

This is also a good time to gather any necessary documents such as property disclosures, home warranties and inspection reports.

Setting The Price

Once your home is prepared, you will need to set a price for your home. This will be based on factors such as your home's condition, location, and recent sales of similar homes in your area. You can work with a real estate agent who will help you determine the best price for your home.

03.

Marketing Content

After your home is priced, it will be marketed to potential buyers. This may include placing it on the multiple listing service, advertising, open houses and virtual tours. Your real estate agent will help you to create a marketing plan that will reach the right buyers.

04.

Home Showings

Once your home is listed, potential buyers will schedule showings to view your home. This is where potential buyers will come to view your home with their agent and ask any questions they have.

05.

Receive An Offer

Once potential buyers have viewed your home, they may make an offer. Your real estate agent will help you evaluate any offers and negotiate the terms of the sale.

06.

Closing The Deal

After an offer is accepted, the closing process will begin. This will involve transferring the title of the property from the seller to the buyer, and finalizing all the necessary paperwork. Once closing is complete, the home selling process is finished, and the keys to the house will be handed over to the new owners.
